First BLOG from CaS Personnel

BLOG
In the beginning there was; if I really knew the answer to that question I would be very rich and not writing this blog.
CaS Personnel officially born on 31/01/2011, conceived many years ago when a youngish couple were conversating (an Americanism) over a pint or two of Guinness in one or other of London’s finer hostelries. In actual fact there may well have been more than two pints of Guinness (a pot of tea) but the author is trying not to appear as a total boozer.
When we were subconsciously making our wish list of all the things we might like to do before we trip this mortal coil came the idea of owning a business and working for ourselves in Australia. Assisting this thought along with the next round of Guinness was the desire for Sarah to return to her native land from which she had been absent for nearly a decade. In to the dreamtime popped; “wouldn’t it be great if we could go travelling and on our way and see some really cool places, like;” I shan’t bore you any further with the remaining contents of the wish list.  Safe to say at this point the concept that will be shaping our future became a twinkle in its founder’s eye.
The questions begin, what shall we do? Where shall we go, how long shall we stay there, where will we go next and then what? How much money will it all cost? You may have guessed, being with a typical Aussie we were back on the topic of travel and business was on the shelf, close to the bottled Guinness. The laptop was out and Google maps and Google Earth were on the screen in a flash. We were planning a trip, an adventure; Michael Palin eat your heart out no camera crew following our every move. The trip would take us through seven countries and last the better part of six months. A blog of that epic adventure was written for quite some time until I reached the point where I decided I could be spending more time having more fun rather than writing a blog. The following is an excerpt from that very same blog:

The Real Village People & Guest

For those of you who may be concerned no village people were harmed in any way during the filming and all were rewarded for their individual contribution.

These few frames were filmed while on location in Sapa in the Vietnamese Alps.

Where is this all going I hear you ask? Well it was while we were on this epic journey that we began to juggle ideas. We could have been our own circus act we had so many ideas in the air at the same time.
Joke Time:
How do you kill a circus?
Go straight for the juggler!
We settled on regrettably abandoning the eco resort in Cambodia in partnership with a chef from Sweden, although a fantastic idea Australia was still calling. Alas along with the eco resort went others. The creative juices were still flowing as fast as the green tea and we decided to opt for what we know best and to do it a little better than the others.
Months and Months and Months well you get the picture that is how long we have spent researching our target markets and what exactly our competition is up to. How they deliver, if they deliver what they promise and where they are. All the necessary required information for us to deliver the kind of service and product we know we would want delivered to us.
